La Ballestera is a family project born from the dream of the Seglem family, entrepreneurs and art lovers who, between the Sierras of Cazorla and Andújar —on the natural border between Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia—, discovered the perfect place to give life to a unique idea: to unite art and wine in a single creative gesture.
During the restoration of the estate, which spans more than 200 hectares, they also undertook a role of active patronage, inviting contemporary artists to create works in situ, in dialogue with the landscape and the essence of the place.
Thus, La Ballestera transforms into a living environment, where art is not only contemplated: it springs from the earth, embeds itself in the walls, and is breathed in every corner. A sensorial experience that goes far beyond the vinicultural. Because here, every step is expression, and every corner, inspiration.
ART
In a vineyard of barely four hectares, cultivated with artisanal care, four noble varieties grow: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, and Viognier. A privileged natural environment where each cluster is treated with the utmost respect and dedication, where the family crafts wines that seek to move and endure.
At La Ballestera, wine is not conceived as a mere product, but as an artistic expression, a natural extension of the creative spirit that defines the entire project.
