Gold is also kept in barrels

The Barrel Club and the 2023 Tinto de Guarda from La Ballestera win gold medals at the world’s most prestigious competitions.

At La Ballestera, each harvest is lived as a piece of ephemeral art. In its barrels, time becomes an ally of silence, and wine turns into liquid memory. In 2025, two of its creations —the Barrel Club 2023 and the Tinto de Guarda 2023— have been awarded gold medals in top-tier international contests.

Barrel Club 2023

A limited-edition wine born from extreme care, awarded gold both at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the Challenge International du Vin. Crafted under the IGP Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, this wine embodies La Ballestera’s philosophy: exclusivity, expression, and balance.

Tinto de Guarda 2023

Patiently aged in barrels, this deep and elegant wine also conquered the jury at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Its refined structure and serene intensity earned it a gold medal —international recognition that craftsmanship and respect for the land echo in every glass.

The beauty of slow time

Awards only confirm a truth cultivated at La Ballestera since day one: that authenticity needs no noise. That a wine can be a sensory experience, but also a poetic gesture, an act of contemplation.
